Everyone was very amiable and hospitable as well as host. The room was a nice size and immaculate, had great views and featured central heating, a fridge, and tea/coffee making equipment. A bath in the private bathroom was a plus. Location: the hotel was short walk to the island in the lake and local sites. Furthermore, in the restaurants etc.

During my stay at Nojiri Lake Resort, the beautiful view of the lake was captivating. the room had a cozy Japanese feel, and Ted was a fantastic host. Although the bathroom was small, the comfortable bed and delicious breakfast made up for it. A truly serene escape in Shinano.
